Cornelius Greaves
Founding partner · Trials and contract disputes
Cornelius has tried cases in Buffalo his whole career, first at a downtown firm and now at the one he founded, for owners and companies on both sides.
He grew up on the East Side and went to law school across town. He started Greaves & Sobczak so that the lawyer a client hires is the lawyer who stands up at trial.
He leads the firm's trials and its contract cases, and is the attorney responsible for this site.

Away from the courthouse
Cornelius coaches youth basketball at a gym on Jefferson Avenue two evenings a week, and has for longer than the firm has existed.
He reads trial transcripts for fun, which his partners find alarming, and keeps a season ticket he mostly gives away.
