Fintan Brancato
Partner · Insurance coverage
Fintan started his career defending insurers, so he knows how a denial letter gets written. Now he represents the businesses that receive them.
He handles coverage disputes for businesses and building owners: denied property and business-interruption claims, and carriers that refuse to defend.
He also writes the firm's significant motions and handles its appeals.

Away from the policy forms
Fintan grew up in Olean, the son of a hardware store owner who once had a claim denied, which he says explains a great deal.
He plays fiddle in a session at a pub on Hertel Avenue most Thursdays, and has never once been asked to stop.
